His presentation "SmartGlass: It is Everywhere You Look" will be given on April 2 and will outline the various types of dynamic glazing technologies and the benefits of using smart glass in general, and SPDSmartGlass in particular, to save energy, improve occupant comfort, productivity and wellbeing.Mr. Harary's presentation will also focus on how SPD-SmartGlass, the world's bestselling smart window technology, is being deployed in the architectural, automotive, aircraft, marine and museum industries.
Joseph M. Harary President and CEO of Research Frontiers noted: "Most of the world's construction is occurring in China, Europe and the United States which together consume 54% of the world's energy. Of this, over 40% of this energy (and 73% of electricity consumption) is being consumed by buildings. By helping to save energy used for heating, cooling and lighting, smart windows can have a beneficial impact on total energy consumption around the world."
Leading global organizations also speaking at this conference include IBM, General Electric, Intel, ABB, Arup, Cisco, Bosch, Texas Instruments, Volvo and many others. The sixth annual IDTechEx event provides insight into energy harvesting technologies, case studies and markets, ranging from consumer electronics and sensors all the way to vehicles, building and industrial automation. In addition, this year's event is co-located with Internet of Things & WSN Europe, Printed Electronics Europe and Supercapacitors Europe.
