Interlayers for laminated glass such as Trosifol PVB and SentryGlas® have been key to improve safety, structural performance, acoustic performance and decorative possibilities of glass. This has allowed architects and engineers to extend the boundaries of transparency.

It describes laminated glass, its advantages and main applications. It compares the different types of interlayers and especially the benefits of the Ionoplast structural interlayer.
