SI. This new window offers superb design flexibility and benefits from a number of optimised features which help it set new standards in thermal insulation.
With a face-width of 111 mm, Schueco AWS 75.SI can achieve a Uf value of 1.3 W/(m2K) and a Uw value as low as 0.91 W(m2K), figures which will not only comfortably exceed the new Document L 2013 regulations but which make it one of the highest performing aluminium outward-opening window systems in the UK.
In addition, the new window – part of a modular range currently available in frame depths ranging from 50 mm to 70 mm – offers excellent security thanks to Schueco’s own multi-point locking system.
Large vent sizes are possible with the new Schueco AWS 75.SI window, with top-hung vents up to 2 m x 2 m (maximum 130 kg) and side-hung vents up to 1.45 m x 1.9 m (maximum 90 kg), allowing large areas of openable ventilation. The generous weight capacity of the concealed friction hinges or optional butt hinges, combined with the robust frame profiles, means that both double- and triple-glazed units may be accommodated.
With an almost unlimited choice of vent/fixed light combinations, the windows are ideally suited for punched openings, window walls or for insertion into Schueco façades where maximum areas of daylight and thermal insulation are required. The window may also be used together with the Schueco ADS 75 door system.
