Vitaliano Torno, recently appointed Managing Director of O-I Europe and the new FEVE President is interviewed in the latest issue of Glass International.

Mr Torno has worked in the industry for 27 years and spoke after O-I’s recent €25 million investment at its Jarvakandi, Estonia facility. The September 2015 issue also contains an exclusive interview with the Director General of Saudi Arabia’s Mahmood Saeed Glass Industry Company (MS Glass), Dr Ayman Khalil. Dr Khalil discusses the company’s rise in prominence since its inception in 1994 and outlines its planned project expansion.



Glass International also spoke to two key executives from the Italian industry ahead of the forthcoming Vitrum event. The President of the Italian Association of Glass Technicians (ATIV), Alessandro Bandini, talks about the role of the association, while Vitrum President Dino Zandonella Necca highlights the Italian glass industry.



The September issue also highlights the new Gurallar Park Cam facility in Turkey and reviews the recent Furnace Solutions conference in the UK.
