Implementation of energy saving programs

February 3, 2016 a meeting on the topic held in Russia StekloSouz in the framework of energy saving programs: "Implementation of a package of measures for the withdrawal of glass factories on the wholesale electricity market and power".

The meeting noted that as a result of the complex on the use of efficient technologies of measures in 2014-2015 managed to reduce energy consumption by 5 to 15%.However, progress is not sufficient to glassworks more confident feel in terms of competitiveness and profitability. By all accounts, the purchase of energy and power in guaranteeing suppliers under the new rules of supply to different markets will further save financial resources.

The meeting was attended by Viktor Osipov, president StekloSouz Russia. A decision was made in conjunction with the Ministry of Energy to prepare for the glass industry a reliable operator in the wholesale electricity and capacity market.
