Date: 2 August 2012
This year’s event is scheduled to take place in a convenient time and location for much of the industry: Las Vegas right before GlassBuild America. The Seminar begins on Tuesday, September 11th and concludes the following day in the host hotel for GlassBuild: The Las Vegas Hotel & Casino (formerly the Las Vegas Hilton.)
“Our program has had great attendance over the years, but we wanted to make it a no-brainer to attend,” said Margaret Webb, IGMA Executive Director. “By co-locating with GlassBuild America, attendees can plan to spend one extra day in Vegas and make an immediate impact in their fabrication business. Our presentations cover the full gamut of do’s and don’ts when it comes to IG manufacturing. Day One is focused on components, special handling and fabrication; Day Two is more strategic with presentations on glass breakage, glass selection for energy efficiency, post fabrication considerations such as good glazing practices and the day concludes with how to conduct a forensic investigation in the event of a failure.”
The registration for the event also offers convenience. Attendees can choose to attend both days’ presentations for one low price, or attend only one day at half-price. IGMA members receive a discount to attend.
“Our program features top presentations from some of the greatest minds in the IG industry,” said Webb. “Experts from companies like GED Integrated Solutions, Edgetech IG, Cardinal IG, Pilkington, HB Fuller and SAGE Electrochromics, in addition to our own Bill Lingnell, guarantee that top notch information is available to our attendees.”
A discounted Early-Bird registration fee is available to all who register by August 12th. Attendees will also receive access to some of the top technical documents from IGMA including the Quality Manual, Glazing Guidelines and the Preventing IG Failures Manual. Registration for the event is available online at the IGMA website at www.igmaonline.org.
