On 19th July 2016 HORN Glass Technology (Beijing) Co. Ltd. held its second technology Seminar in the hotel Shangri-La in China.  

President Max Sollfrank welcomed in his opening speech more than 50 participants.In his welcoming speech Managing Director, Mr. Yeo Hwee Leng pointed out that all important representatives of the Chinese Container Glass industry were present and he was especially pleased about the fact that all the chairmen of the Huaxing Group, Mr. Yantai Changyiu, Mr. Shandong Jingyao, Mr. Wuliangyi as well as many other guests had found time to participate in the seminar.

The presentations were held by Mr. Christoph Jatzwauk, the Board of the Company Horn Glass Industries AG and the Sales Director Ulrich Imhof and covered topics such as the Global Market Overview, MEGA Furnaces, modern glass furnaces, NOx reduction measures and Glass Conditioning.

All of the Participants showed great interest in the presentations which were followed by a lively discussion.

Mr. Zhu (Yantai Changyu) pointed out in his acceptance speech, that it was important and correct that Chinese Glass manufacturers exclusively focus on producing Glass that comes from global and experienced engineering firms like HORN Glass Industries AG, in order to be prepared to face the challenges of the future.

At the end of the seminar Mr. Jatzwauk thanked once again all the participants for the good discussions between the lectures and the suggestions in order to develop an even deeper cooperation with our Chinese customers. This was very helpful for HORN to gain a better understanding of the views and conditions.
