ClimaGuard 55/27 provides a complete glass solution for regions that experience variable heat and light conditions.
ClimaGuard 55/27’s superior performance in comfort and energy efficiency is accomplished through a reduction in solar heat gain and lowering glass temperature during the cooling season. ClimaGuard 55/27 also offers the lowest available U-factor and warmer glass surfaces, thus providing increased energy efficiency and comfort during the heating season.
The benefits of ClimaGuard 55/27 extend beyond its low-E qualities. The glass also offers an unprecedented level of interior light glare reduction without sacrificing the preferred neutral aesthetics of the windows. Homeowners will enjoy the full sense of natural light without the glare, and be able to have it all with a window that is visually appealing from both inside and out with low reflectance and a neutral color.
“For the first time, a low-E glass option is available that offers reduced energy costs and increased comfort without sacrificing the view, natural light or your home’s curbside appeal,” said Mike Mooney, director of residential glass products for Guardian Industries. “ClimaGuard 55/27 is an ideal solution for new or existing homes with expansive windows in the Desert Southwest, Gulf Coast, Mountain Regions and other areas with extreme temperature and light challenges. Early customer feedback to its performance and aesthetics has been overwhelmingly positive.”
ClimaGuard 55/27 is an enhanced solar control extension of Guardian’s existing ClimaGuard Low-E product, and complements the existing ClimaGuard SPF glass product.
