Great Success at the LiSEC Forum “Development Trends of Glass Processing”

On May 19th, 2015, LiSEC Shanghai Trading Co., Ltd. and the China Building Material Test & Certification Group Co., Ltd. organized a forum about the “Development Trends of Glass Processing” at the Great Wall Sheraton Hotel in Beijing.  In their opening speeches moderator, Mr.

Shi Xinyong, president of China Building Material Test & Certification Group Co., Ltd., and Mr. Qiao Chi, CEO of LiSEC Shanghai Trading Co., Ltd., welcomed about 200 experts and leaders from many top class enterprises as well as from national glass associations and national organizations for testing and standardization.





Around 200 experts attended the forum.



The lectures of the Austrian experts focused on the latest trends in the glass processing industry in general and the glass processing technologies of ultra-thin glass as well as their applications in specific. In addition, some Chinese and foreign experts in the glass industry were invited as guest speakers, so the participants benefited from a wide variety of presentations. The main topics of this forum comprised “Glass Processing Industry 4.0”, “Energy Efficient Building Skins with Vacuum Glass - a Status Report”, “Tempered Thin Glass Applications” and “Lightweight Heat Strengthened Glass”. It provided a perfect platform for technical communication & exchange between experts, scholars and representatives of companies and public institutions.





The forum was fully booked by top managers of the Chinese glass industry
