L. The machines are booked in Glaston’s Q2 2015 order book and will be delivered to the customer during the third and fourth quarter of 2015.The order is a follow-up to the deal made in 2013.
Tvitec, located in Cubillos del Sil, León, in northwest Spain, was founded in 2007. The company is the leading facade glass supplier in Spain and has one of the largest glass processing facilities in Europe. Tvitec has in a short time gained a world-class name for itself as supplier for demanding architectural projects and over 70% of Tvitec’s products are exported.
The Glaston-Tvitec customer relationship goes back to year 2008 when Tvitec acquired the first Glaston furnace. The advanced technology and reliability of Glaston’s machines as well as the superior quality of the end product that help the company to set itself apart from the global competition were the decisive factors for Tvitec when deciding on the new investment.
The heat treatment lines represent Glaston's latest technology. The lines are also equipped with the advanced GlastonInsight™ production optimisation system. The deal also includes a pre-processing line for double-edging. One of the heat treatment lines and the pre-processing line will be installed at the company’s new factory close to Oporto, Portugal.
