FIT Show organisers have announced the launch of a new campaign designed to bring its community together, in one place, during these unprecedented times.

With a combined audience of over 12,000 across its social media channels, FIT Show has launched the #FITShowFamily campaign as a way to keep its community connected and serve as a portal to share useful content, inspirational posts, positive messages and support for one another.

All social media posts that are shared across Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook using the #FITShowFamily hashtag will be displayed on a dedicated page on https://www.fitshow.co.uk/fit-show-family. This will include guest content in the form podcasts, webinars and video interviews from across the FIT Show community.

FIT Show event director, Nickie West said: “There may be a lot of uncertainty in the world right now, but one thing that we do know is that our community is utilising social media more than ever.

“In the temporary absence of face-to-face interaction, our audience is tapping into the benefits of channels such as LinkedIn and Twitter to stay connected, share useful information, keep their brands front-of-mind and help one another through these unprecedented times.

“Whether it’s a shout out to someone who has lifted your spirits today, a recommendation for a new tool or plugin to ease the pressure of homeworking, or an example of how companies are adapting their production lines to help with the fight against coronavirus, we want to hear from you!”

The #FITShowFamily campaign is now live at www.fitshow.co.uk. People from across the fenestration industry, from fabricators and installers through to marketers and designers, are asked to share their advice, support, words of wisdom and anecdotes using the hashtag #FITShowFamily on their preferred social media platform. To take part in a webinar, podcast or interview, please contact jess@fitshow.co.uk

Nickie added: “Our industry, by its very nature, thrives on social and physical interactions - touching, seeing and feeling products. With FIT Show 21, quite rightly, a long way off in people’s minds, we hope that the #FITShowFamily will be seen as a useful tool to help keep people connected.

“Come next May, after an extended period of brands not being able to make those all important face-to-face connections, there’s no doubt in my mind that FIT Show 2021 will be more important than ever.”

FIT Show is the UK’s number one, award-winning showcase for the glass, glazing, window, door, hardware and components industry. FIT Show will return to the NEC 25 - 27 May 2021, Halls 2 and 3.
