The Fenzi Group proudly hosted the General Assembly of GIMAV, the association of Italian manufacturers and suppliers of machinery, equipment, and special products for glass processing.

Alessandro Fenzi warmly welcomed the attendees and underscored the symbolic significance of the event, which coincided with the tenth anniversary of the passing of his father, Dino Fenzi. Dino Fenzi was a pioneering advocate for the association from its inception. Alessandro emphasized the crucial role GIMAV plays in the Italian glass industry, fostering unity and strength among companies, enabling them to compete more effectively in international markets. He highlighted the shared vision of the industry pioneers and the contributions of companies that have established Italy as a leader in the glass sector. He expressed hope that this spirit of unity and excellence will continue to grow stronger.

Matteo Padovan, Managing Director of the Italian Headquarters of the Fenzi Group, echoed this vision:

“We believe Vitrum is essential for promoting Italian excellence in the glass industry. For this reason, we have already committed to exhibiting at the 2025 edition with a larger presence and exhibition area than in previous years. We encourage significant participation from both exhibitors and visitors. There are many innovative ideas coming from the association, and Vitrum 2025 will be the perfect occasion to showcase them and highlight the achievements of GIMAV and its member companies.”

Special thanks were extended to the Fenzi Group by GIMAV’s Director, Fabrizio Cattaneo, and President Dino Zandonella Necca for hosting the event.
