Fenestration China, the leading exhibition for window and curtain wall manufacturing in China and Asia, will be held this year at a new location: from 27–29 November 2009, the International Exhibition on Windows, Doors, Skylights and Curtain Wall Technology, Components and Prefabricated Units, will be hosted at the National Agriculture Exhibition Center in Beijing.

The China Construction Metal Structure Association (CCMSA) renewed its support for the show, which will be run by the same management team but under a new management company: international trade fair experts UnionExpo and NürnbergMesse Group. To mark these changes, the trade fair is presented with a distinctive new logo.

Six months before the start of Fenestration China the management has already sold more than 80 per cent of the planned exhibition space, which, at 25.000 sqm, is the largest exhibition of its kind in China. Around 25,000 trade visits from 20 nations are expected to view some 110,000 products. The visitors will also benefit from the most up-to-date trade information on services, associations, research and development in the window and facade construction industry.

Fenestration China is part of the Global Fair Alliance – a cooperation of the four leading international trade shows in the sector, which also include fensterbau/frontale in Nuremberg, Germany, Istanbul Window in Turkey and GlassBuild America. The aim of the alliance is to coordinate the date of their shows and to work jointly on core issues of the sector.

Energy efficiency, building resistance to earthquakes, architectural glass and intelligent curtains are the main issues to be discussed at the conference "Fenestration Days China" which is run alongside the exhibition.
