FAKRO the vice-leader in the global market of roof windows presents its innovative solutions in more than 20 trade shows annually. Recently FAKRO top products have been presented at Bauen & Energie in Vienna, the largest Austrian fair for the building, renovation and energy saving issues.
The whole event lasted 4 days from 25 to 28 January 2018 with a focus on new construction trends, energy efficiency and smart home solutions.
Bauen & Energie Wien is a show that provides around 45,000 visitors with expert advice for their current building and renovation projects. It is a popular meeting place for professionals as well as end users, presenting the best and latest solutions in the construction industry.
On the area of 64 m2, FAKRO displayed top solutions for flat and steep roofs which meet stringent design and comfort requirements.
The leitmotiv of FAKRO stand in Vienna was "Es its Zeit für ein Farbenspiel mit ColourLine" [transl. "It's time for playing with colours with ColourLine"]. The visitors were deeply interested in the electric flat roof window, which was attracting with its unique, colourful design - DEF ColourLine.
The entire range of flat roof products was exhibited including DRF flat access roof light. Visitors were enthusiastic about the DEF electric flat roof window featuring modern design which has received the prestigious Red Dot Design Award 2016.
FAKRO also presented the type C flat roof windows (DEC-C) with a dome. The great interest of the visitors was focused on the DXW flat roof window which allows the user to walk across its surface.
The walkable DXW DW6 flat roof window won the bronze Architects' Darling Awards 2017 in the category “Best product-innovation in the category of building-shell”.
Moreover, FAKRO presented the top products dedicated to steep roofs, such as top hung and pivot window FPP-V preSelect2, which allows to open the sash up to an angle of 45°.
Naturally, the stand also featured innovative FGH-V Galeria roof window which create a functional balcony with its open sashes, FTT U8 energy-efficient roof window (recommended for passive buildings) and FTT/U R3 roof window which significantly reduces noise penetration into the room.
During the trade show, FAKRO also presented a wide range of blinds such as external awning blinds in manual, electrical and Solar version and internal ones. In addition, FAKRO demonstrated, for the first time on Austrian market, a new filter awning blind cleanAir.
The awning blind is equipped with RESPILON AIR® membrane which is made of layers of nanofibers to create a dense and durable mesh. A tight sealed connection with the blind’s frame structure ensures that the level of protection against smog and air pollution reaches an unparalleled level.
