A quarter of the Fair’s visitors were architects, engineers and planners, so the FAKRO stand also saw its fair share of professionals. The company also had the honour of hosting architects collaborating with Heinze.
Paul Leitgeber, manager of FAKRO Dachfenster GmbH, is very satisfied with his presence at the fair: “We manages to make many valuable new contacts, and present interested customers with new products as well as those recognised on the market. It is extremely important to take part in events of this type, particularly for a company which is expanding dynamically in Germany.”
FAKRO presented a wide range of innovative products at the fair - roof windows, flat roof windows and attic stairs. The fair provides a unique forum for the company to introduce its solutions to a wide audience and start a dialogue. FAKRO products owe their innovativeness not only to the work of high calibre professionals whose every tasks involve ensuring a high level of functionality, quality and comfort of use, but also to the company keeping an ear to the ground when it comes to market needs.
At a stall measuring 143m2, the company presented a family of products for flat roofs, including the DXW window - German Design Award Winner 2019 - which can be walked on.
Also in display was the F type flat roof window, characterised by very high heat insulation parameters and a modern appearance. We showed off the D_F window in its ColourLine version, which allows the colour of the finishing (over 200 colours from the RAL Classic palette) to be matched to the style of the existing roof.
One novelty was the Z type flat roof window, which has a glazed segment specially structured with the slope of the external surface, allowing water to be drained off even when the window is fitted perfectly horizontally. The windows can be ordered with the AMZ/Z Z-Wave awnings factory fitted under the glazed segment.
The stand could not, of course, lack a wide range of attic stairs, with the stand-out example being the LMP new generation steps, which enable access to the attic space even in the tallest rooms (from 300 to 366cm). The system used to unburden the ladder makes them convenient to use while retaining maximum comfort and safety.
The technologically advanced FAKRO smartHome solutions were also on display, in which FAKRO joinery products are integrated into a smart home system and can be controlled locally with a remote control, or also using a smartphone once the system has been extended.
