Encirc appoints new site director for Derrylin

Encirc has welcomed Paddy O'Doherty as site director for its facility in Derrylin, Northern Ireland.   Responsible for the entire Derrylin operation, Paddy will work closely with Encirc's senior management team, leading the future investment and development programmes to further optimise efficiency and increase capacity, helping boost profitability and ensuring the business's long-term success.Paddy joins Encirc from Coca-Cola Canada's facility in Brampton, Ontario, the largest Coke manufacturing and distribution centre in North America, where he held the position of general manager.

His extensive experience in the beverages and packaging industries means he brings with him in-depth knowledge focused on maximising manufacturing productivity.

Speaking about his new position, Paddy explained: "I'm looking forward to being able to use my manufacturing experience to help the business build on its current achievements and boost quality, safety and performance right across the business."

Robert Rose, operations director at Encirc, added: "Paddy's industry expertise will be invaluable in helping us further enhance the world class performance and efficiency of our Derrylin site. With him on the team, we can make sure we continue to support our customers' needs with high quality bottles and reliable delivery, securing the future of this plant."
