The new facility built on 10,000 square metres and equipped with state of the art machinery, has a daily production capacity of 2,000 square metres of insulated glass and 1,000 square metres of frameless glass.
"The opening of this factory will further consolidate the company's status as a leading provider of premium quality products and world-class services. We are sure that the new glass factory will give a significant momentum to our operations and expand our business scope," said Samer Barakat, managing director.
The factory features a Lisec cutting line which can produce 4,000 square metres daily.
The Tamglass tempering line which has a daily capacity of 2,000 square metres can heat treat the sputter-coated glass and all types of special coatings, with convection and radiation methods, it can heat treat a glass panel up to 6,000x2,800mm.
