Presenting the trophy, Promac Group Managing Director Joe Hague explains, “This very special award was introduced in 2011 in memory of our beloved MD Derek Bonnard and recognises the very best in the industry.This category cannot be entered into but is judged by an independent panel making it a more significant accomplishment for the winner.
“With the challenges the industry has faced over the last few years alone, any Company that has not only survived but thrived is commendable and so to celebrate 350 years is a remarkable achievement by Saint-Gobain and one which truly deserves this award for excellence.”
Accepting the trophy on behalf of Saint-Gobain, Managing Director of Saint-Gobain Glass Industry, Steve Severs, said “We are delighted to have won the Derek Bonnard Award for Excellence, which is proudly on display at Eggborough.
