Laurence stands as a leader in the automotive glass industry with more than 40 years of experience manufacturing quality slider systems for domestic and import truck brands. Since CRL's innovative bonded rear slider debuted over 20 years ago, the company has continued to design, engineer, and manufacture trusted automotive products here in the United States.
Today, CRL Automotive continues to influence the industry, and is proud to introduce the market's first rear sliding windows exclusively engineered for GM's 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon models. CRL's new sliders for GM's mid-size pickup truck platform are available in Manual Tri-Vent Slider and Electric POWR-Slider deluxe solar glass offerings that meet each truck's specialized design and performance needs.
The Electric POWR-Slider utilizes CRL's Encapsulated Flex Flange technology to give the Colorado and Canyon the largest daylight opening offered in the market. A convenient dash-mounted button quietly opens, closes, and automatically locks the curved glass window with ease. The POWR-Slider distinguishes itself as the truck platform's first and only electrically-operated rear window option in both the aftermarket and from the original manufacturer, General Motors.
The Manual Tri-Vent Slider operates quietly, is easy to open and close, and installs without any modifications. Its 3-panel design offers increased visibility from top to bottom as a result of its slim-line aluminum frame. CRL's direct replacement manual slider surpasses the quality and performance of most factory-installed rear windows, which customers have come to expect from CRL Automotive.
"We take pride in providing the industry with American-made, advanced automotive glass products that are the first to reach the market," says Fred Altamirano, V.P. of C.R. Laurence Automotive. "The new manual and power rear truck sliders for Chevrolet's Colorado and GMC's Canyon models provide users with additional function, privacy, comfort, safety, and durability that other manufacturers simply cannot match."
These new windows were designed and engineered in the U.S.A. in CRL's state-of-the-art facilities in Los Angeles, California. To learn more about the all-new sliders for GM's 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon Trucks, please visit crlaurence.com/automotive.
