DFI, producer of advanced surface protective coatings and restoration products, is proud to announce that Columbia Building Services of Minneapolis will offer commercial glass restoration services using DFI's patented protective coating and restoration products on high rise buildings in five states: Minnesota, Wisconsin, North and South Dakota and Iowa.    For nearly 100 years Columbia Building Services has been the premier provider of high rise building services to Minneapolis and the surrounding suburbs.

Michael LeSage is the third-generation owner and President, after having worked for his father, Don LeSage. He brings over 30 years of expertise and has developed a strong support team to continue the superior customer service adhering to the highest standards for safety, quality and performance.

Columbia Building Services offers an extensive range of services including awning and banner fabrication and installation, building inspections, window cleaning, high-reach relamping and cleaning and commercial restoration services.

"We take pride in offering value-added services and support; and with the addition of DFI's restoration and protection products, we know we are providing the best offering for our clients," commented Michael LeSage, President of Columbia Building Services."We are excited to work with DFI on this new endeavor and are confident this new offering will only enhance the value Columbia Building Services offers."

For more than 18 years, DFI has been providing architectural glazing restoration services and coatings to reduce maintenance frequency and costs, increase value and sustainability, and protect against new or recurring environmental damage. By providing low maintenance protective coatings for silica-based surfaces, DFI can help building owners save hundreds of thousands of dollars in costly replacement glass and reduce building energy costs. Protecting commercial buildings with Diamon-Fusion® hydrophobic low maintenance coating enhances the appearance of the building and can reduce frequency of cleanings by 50% or more. DFI coatings also help guard against some common forms of graffiti.

"We are excited for this new opportunity with Columbia Building Services and are confident that they will be very successful in offering our restoration and protective glass coating products on commercial buildings," remarked Carl Christ, DFI's Director of Onsite Services. "From the Tiffany Building in NYC to the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco we have clearly demonstrated the efficacy of our coatings and techniques in this arena for many years."
