BTB Tools of Australia to distribute Glass Bot™

Date: 25 June 2008

Press Release for immediate releaseGarden Valley, CAGarden Valley, California based, Nelson Marketing, an innovative design / marketing company, is announcing their agreement with BTB Tools of Bendigo, Australia to distribute the Glass Bot™ in the Australia and New Zealand markets.

The Glass Bot™ is an automated deglazing tool that provides fast and safe removal of automotive glass parts without breakage or damage to attached moldings. The Glass Bot's small compact size but powerful low-speed, high torque motor provides the power via remote control for automatic, strain free auto glass removal. The Glass Bot™ is mounted to the interior of the windshield with a 7” vacuum pad and using very high strength stainless steel wire, gently pulls the wire through the adhesive to release the glass from the body.

The Glass Bot™ is universally powered via a 10-foot power cord that attaches to the vehicle's or service vehicle's battery or a battery jump pack. The operation is completely automatic in that the technician does not touch the tool during the cutting operation.

Rick Nelson, President for Nelson Marketing explains, “BTB contacted us requesting exclusive market rights to sell the Glass Bot™. We were happy to agree, as BTB Tools is synonymous with very precise glass removal methods and their company is well know internationally for their product range. Trevor and Craig Lock and I have worked together in the past and we all feel that with the design changes in today’s vehicles requiring much more care in preventing any damage to the paint systems, there is a great need for the Glass Bot™.”

The Glass Bot™ has a patent pending status.
