- The MBT 7200/7400 Wall Thickness Measurement Gauges are hand-held thickness gauges designed for the high accuracy measurement of all types of non-ferrous containers, packages and related materials. These portable devices are based upon the “Hall Effect” principal and offer the capability to provide accurate and repeatable measurement of all types of non-ferrous materials, regardless of size and shape, up to10mm thick. These portable devices are particularly useful for measuring the unique attributes found in bottles and containers that are typically difficult to measure accurately, such as heel, base and shoulder regions, decorated areas, small radii, complex shapes and sharp corners.
