AGC launches Luxclear Protect - Anti-corrosion glass

AGC Glass Company North America has launched LUXCLEAR Protect anti-corrosion glass.

This permanent coated glass product is designed to protect the surface of the glass by preventing corrosion due to contaminants related to water, heat and high-humidity that ultimately cause the glass to “age” and become dull and dirty in appearance.

LUXCLEAR Protect is the perfect solution for protecting bath and shower enclosures, whether the application is a single family residence, hotel or high-rise condominium—demanding the ultimate in quality and durability.

LUXCLEAR Protect is available in thicknesses up to 12mm—and may be used annealed (non-safety glazing applications) or tempered depending on the application.

No special cleaning or maintenance required to keep this glass looking great. Luxclear Protect can be stored, cleaned and processed the same as traditional float glass.

Though ideal for shower enclosures, LUXCLEAR Protect may also be used in sunrooms, pool enclosures, greenhouses or other areas exposed to heat and humidity.
