WFNN said, "AGS continues to lead at the forefront of technical and specialty glass. Knowledge gained related to chemical (ion-exchange) strengthening is enabling lighter, higher strength glass products. AGS researchers plan to receive a Department of Energy Office of Industrial Technologies grant to continue these studies and to demonstrate practical applicability of their ideas to producing stronger, yet lighter weight, glass windows. With the continued interest in the writing of grants, we see this private company growing and expanding into the specialty glass area.
