Vitrum 2003 XIII edition

Milan Fairgrounds will host in fall 2003 a big exhibition of electronic devices, which will occupy the whole available area. Further in 2005, VITRUM will be scheduled again with its usual calender (VITRUM 2005 will be held from 5th to 8th October).

The ongoing increase in exhibitor and visitor numbers seen at VITRUM in recent years reached its peak in 2001, confirming the tremendous interest aroused by the Milan exhibition among those in the trade, and the important role of Italian machinery, accessories and special products in the production, processing and transformation of glass.

For these reasons, and with the more than 27,000 square meters net taken up in 2001, VITRUM 2003 is growing upwards, in spite of the instable international situation, suffered by the world market in the last months and becoming much more difficult in the last four/five weeks. Nevertheless, VITRUM 2003 is reaching new records as far as net surface and exhibitors’ number.

The spaces have been distributed, as usual, on a rational basis, taking into account the technical needs of the exhibitors and the logistic restraints of the fair complex itself.

These are the numbers of VITRUM 2003, just few weeks before the opening day

As far as visitors’ number they have positive forecasts, in consideration that the final result of October 2001, suffered with a decrease of 2.5% the worldwide crisis which followed the tragic even of September 11.
