Through this agreement Vitro employees and immediate family members can pursue their higher education degrees for undergraduate and graduate levels at preferred tuition costs.
After announcing this program, Mr. Ramón Lara, President of the Board of Directors of Vitro Club, explained: “this new benefit forms part of the many initiatives undertaken by Vitro to be a leading corporate citizen for its employees, their immediate family members as well as the other corporate members of Vitro Club. The objective is to provide them with the opportunity and access to higher education at the middle, undergraduate and postgraduate levels at preferential tuition costs, thus enhancing their personal development and quality of life.”
Ángel E. Cano, CEU’s Chancellor, expressed his interest in supporting Vitro in this program as part of the dynamics of the institution, under his guidance, to encourage continuous improvement: “We stress integral development among our students as a means to strengthen their intellectual skills, strive for continuous personal improvement and polish their leadership skills.” Adding to the previous comments Miguel A. Vargas, President of the “Commission For Family Well Being” of Vitro Club reminded those present that: “Vitro has undertaken these types of initiatives in the past for the benefit of its employees with other higher learning institutions such as: the Regiomontana University, Northern University, Northeastern University, the México-Valle University and the Millennium Tech, only to mention a few with efforts continuing to expand the program to other communities where Vitro has a presence.”
