Float Glass, a subsidiary of Vitro’s Flat Glass business unit, launches its General Manual for Uses and Applications for the purpose of offering a more complete service to its current and potential clients by integrating into one document the applications, benefits and characteristics of a wide range of architectural glass products.

The catalogue includes the five families of architectural products that adopt and adapt to the tendencies in the market. “This facilitates the search for products, as each family includes a large variety of products that respond to specific needs, such as decoration, color, safety, double pane thermal and solar ray control”, tells us Alejandro Gebara, Marketing Manager for Float Glass He adds that to facilitate the identification of the common properties of the products, the Manual uses representative icons for each of the existing characteristics.

“We did this due to the fact that our products offer value added as they present specific characteristics such as: acoustical, thermal, safety, energy efficiency, solar ray transmission or reflection as well as design and decorative”, he comments.

The catalogue also includes additional processes, like mirrors, tempering, laminating, curving, rolled, frosting and painted, as well as special finishes that can have the edges polished, beveled and cornered, scraped, perforated and cutouted.

“We’re proud to present this Manual as we’re sure that it will be a very useful tool for our clients, engineers, architects, designers and any professional that is dedicated to the design of façade systems or interior spaces”, he concludes.

The launch of this catalogue reaffirms Vitro’s commitment to its clients to offer exclusive cutting edge solutions by offering superior quality products that provide equilibrium between esthetic qualities, design and functionality.
