Vitro Glass names Paul Bush director of quality & technical services

Thirty-year PPG veteran to oversee product quality and customer crisis management.

Vitro Architectural Glass announced that it has named Paul Bush as director of Quality & Technical Services.

Bush, formerly director of technical services for Vitro Glass, will direct the company’s quality initiatives, including product quality and customer crisis management.

Bush has held several management positions with PPG since 1986, including in product development, product quality and technical services.

“Paul has been involved with many glass technical innovations throughout his distinguished career with PPG, and now with Vitro,” said Richard A. Beuke, president, Vitro Architectural Glass. “He made significant contributions to the successful development of PPG’s post-temperable low-emissivity coated glass products and PPG’s Certified Fabricator Program. His body of work and vision will be extremely valuable to achieving Vitro Glass’ objectives.”

Bush is the Vitro Glass representative at the American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA), where he is vice president of the Glass Material Council. He also has been Vitro Glass’ representative with the National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) since 1997, where he has assumed numerous roles, including vice chairman of the board of directors in 2016. Bush currently is board chairman for the NFRC.

Bush holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a U.S. patent on glass fabrication.
