Vitro and Christus Muguerza Group Begin a Strategic Alliance

Monterrey, N.L., August 10th, 2012. - VITRO, leading glass manufacturer in Mexico, and CHRISTUS MUGERZA Group, pioneer and leader in private medical attention in the northern part of the country, inform that they have establish a strategic alliance in the benefit of the right holders of the Clínica VITRO, in which CHRISTUS MUGERZA will administrate this Clinic, which shall be name CHRITUS MUGERZA Clínica Vidriera.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Hugo A. Lara García, Chief Executive Officer of VITRO, and Mr. Horacio Garza Ghio, Chief Executive Officer of CHRISTUS MUGERZA Group.

At the signing of the agreement, Mr. Lara García, Chief Executive Officer of VITRO, showed his appreciation mentioning that “Thanks to this alliance, the employees of VITRO that are right holders, as well as their beneficiaries, will not only conserve the same health services that until now they have receive through the Clínica VITRO, but will as well receive new benefits provided by CHRISTUS MUGERZA Group.”

Mr. Lara García detailed that the now known CHRISTUS MUGERZA Clínica Vidriera will continue to be for the right holders the center of attention for appointments, medical attentions of first contact, diagnosis studies, pharmacy, hospitalization, surgeries and emergencies, as well as other services.

In addition and derived from this agreement, the employees of VITRO that are right holders and their beneficiaries will now have more options for medical attention by being able to access the now four local hospitals, as well as the principal Medical Attention Centers of CHRISTUS MUGERZA Group located in the metropolitan area of Monterrey. “It is a great satisfaction to be able to

strengthen and extend the health services to the right holders and beneficiaries through this transcendent alliance with CHRISTUS MUGERZA,” concluded Mr. Lara García.

With the entry into effect of the alliance, the right holders of the Clínica VITRO and their beneficiaries will count with a more robust portfolio of health services which will be provided by CHRISTUS MUGERZA Group, institution that now has four hospitals in the city of Monterrey, multiple medical attention centers, ambulance services, specialized psychiatric centers, additions, physical therapy, as well as others.

Some of the principal benefits and services that the right holders and beneficiaries of the Clínica VITRO will now receive are:

• Hospitalization services directed to the four locations of CHRISTUS MUGERZA Group.




• Emergency attention services in any of the hospital locations and medical attention centers equipped with emergency service of CHRISTUS MUGERZA Group.
