PiGs, the glazing industry’s biggest networking event, has added two extra dates to its regular calendar of get-togethers – with the first set to ‘hog’ the limelight as part of the FIT Show’s Late Night Tuesday.

Tuesday night will see the Balls2 Marketing stand (D30) transform into the PiGs Bar for a spot of late night troughing, and it’s likely that the great and good of the glazing world will trot along to meet up and enjoy a few drinks.

“We’ve already had a fantastic response from regular sponsors and newbies alike,” says PiGs organiser Sarah Ball. “It’s an ideal opportunity for companies who aren’t exhibiting at FIT to still have a presence and we look forward to welcoming old friends and new.

“We’ll also have some entertainment on hand, along with some exclusive giveaways, so it promises to be an excellent bonus PiGs night.”

The first sponsors to sign up are: All Glass, APS, CAB, Emplas, Extrudaseal, The Georgian Bar Company, Glazerite, Improveasy, Selecta, Sidey, Supalite, Whizzle and Windowmaker.

Also, due to popular demand, PiGs will be making its second ‘stateside’ appearance, in tandem with Glass Build America in Atlanta, on Wednesday 18 September.

“Since we held an event in Las Vegas in 2016, which was a great success, we’ve been asked several times to organise another American PiGs night,” says Sarah. “It’ll be fantastic to catch up with people over there and tick Atlanta off the PiGs list.

“We haven’t finalised details on a venue yet but watch this space.”

PiGs, otherwise known as the People In Glazing Society, is organised by Sarah from Balls2 Marketing. It’s free to attend and is supported by the generosity of its sponsors. All money from PiGs supporters goes behind the bar to get the evening started.

The regular dates for the rest of 2019 are: 20 June in London, 5 September in Glasgow and 7 November in Birmingham.
