Leading hardware company the Trojan Group launched the industry’s next generation of door hinges, The Athena Range, at The FIT Show in April this year and has seen astonishing demand for the product ever since.

Tony Chadwick, Trojan’s Group Managing Director, comments: “Demand for the Athena hinges has been unprecedented – it’s our biggest ever product launch. The market trend is to move away from the highly visible, bulky type door hinges to more unobtrusive, less visual solutions. The Athena hinge delivers exactly what’s needed and so much more along with security that exceeds PAS 24 legislation.”

Of course, because it’s a Trojan product, the new Athena hinge delivers more than just excellent aesthetics. It’s supplied pre-assembled and ready to fit, dramatically speeding up the fitting process.

What’s more, the unique patented design means that it offers easy, accurate and independent adjustment with the door in the closed position. Once fitted, there are no unsightly gaps, creating an elegant, high quality finish.

The hinge fits all standard Eurogroove systems and large volume fabricators will be interested to know that it is available in packaging specifically designed for high volume, separated flow line assemblies.

It is PAS 24 compliant when fitted as part of an approved doorset and it has a double knuckle construction that means it has exceptional load bearing qualities too.

It comes in white, black, brown oak (UV stabilised), polished chrome, PVD gold and satin silver as standard as well as any RAL colour finish which offers a ten year surface finish guarantee.

The quality goes without saying and is backed up with Trojan’s ten year mechanical guarantee for complete peace of mind.

Trojan’s reputation is for developing pioneering hardware products that move the market forward. Their products continue to add real value to fabricators’ and installers’ businesses and with the success of the Athena hinge they are ahead of the game once more.
