Britain's Rexam Plc, the world's biggest maker of drinks cans, said on Monday it had reached an agreement with Interbrew

BR> to buy a German glass container maker for about 68 million pounds ($106 million).

The firm said the deal to buy Nienburger Glas GmbH, which is supported by a supply agreement with Interbrew, was subject to regulatory approval. Rexam will finance the acquisition through existing borrowing facilities.
