Prodim Unfold: the perfect solution for curved glass

Inaccurate measurements not only lead to a waste in material, but also in time and money.  All measurements should therefore, be precise. The digital templating device, the Proliner, is the solution to end inaccurate measurements permanently. Using Prodim’s glass solutions, flat and bent glass can be measured easily and precisely. It does not matter whether you measure a normal window, a ship or car windshield, a complex shaped frame, an architectural opening, a shower cabin space or backsplashes of countertops; the Proliner can measure it all!

Prodim Unfold is the flattening software for bent glass. After the measurement, a digital file of the measured object is automatically created and can be checked on the Proliner. This 3D model can be exported and saved as an IGES file. Unfolding the 3D drawings of double curved shaped objects into 2D unfolded shapes, is just a matter of one click. The material properties of the measured objects are thereby taken into consideration. Thanks to the intuitive CAD functions, the 2D model can be optimized and the resulting DXF file can be immediately sent to the glass cutting table.

Because of a built-in control check, containing a FEM analysis, the software is able to determine that the bending does not exceed the elasticity limits. Moreover, holes on the surface of a measured glass object can be preserved easily.
