High efficiency of up to 14.5 percent High yields, even with smaller roofs Available starting in April 2010 SCHOTT Solar is now rounding off its product line by introducing an elegant new solar module that features high-performance monocrystalline cells.

With cell efficiency of over 17.5 percent, this module achieves overall efficiency of up to 14.5 percent. In other words, just the right prerequisites for being put to use on smaller roofs. After all, the new SCHOTT MONO series delivers high annual yields even when not much space is available – and the vendor even guarantees this for 25 years. The new SCHOTT MONO modules will be available for purchase from specialized dealers in three different versions from 180 to 190 watts of nominal output starting in April 2010. They all offer the same high reliable performance and positive tolerance of efficiency that customers have come to expect.

The latest addition to the SCHOTT Solar module family is also a real eye-catcher. But the dark mono cells in combination with the black aluminum frame are designed to be more than just attractive. After all, the module frame that lacks a hollow chamber allows for a high degree of torsional stiffness, in other words stands up well to both high winds and the elements. Here, too, the high quality and performance that the SCHOTT MONO module series offers can be traced back to the quality philosophy of its manufacturer. With over 50 years of experience, SCHOTT Solar ensures that its customers can look forward to stable yields for many years to come. The strict testing standards at SCHOTT Solar that are twice as rigid as the official IEC standard are one key factor that contributes towards this.

Customers are issued a 25-year guarantee on the high-performance of the SCHOTT MONO line and thus extremely high investment security. The light weight of not even 16 kilograms also makes life a lot easier for installation personnel. All of the connections needed to connect them in series are also easily accessible.

The SCHOTT MONO modules have already been registered for certification according to IEC 61215 ed. 2 and IEC 61730, electrical protection class II, and the CE guidelines.
