Polyframe has furthered its alliance with leading security brand Yale with the announcement that the Yale Rapide lock – one of the strongest and highest performing window locks on the market – is now available across Polyframe’s entire range of PVCu windows.

The development means that installers and homeowners can now upgrade their hardware specification to Yale’s Rapide lock on any of the five window systems fabricated by Polyframe and qualify for Polyframe’s homeowner guarantee – the ‘Polyframe Protection Promise’.

Richard Lee, PVCu category director at Polyframe, says: “The Polyframe ethos is all about delivering the very best for installers and homeowners with the broadest choice of PVCu profiles, a market leading homeowner security guarantee and trusted hardware. Yale is a brand that’s recognised by 98% of consumers and we’re delighted to partner with them to bring this exceptional locking system on board for our customers.

“Providing unbeatable security and weather performance, we feel the Rapide is the best window lock on the market and, together with our Polyframe Protection Promise, it delivers complete peace of mind for the homeowner. We are the only fabricator to offer such an impressive package and we’re proud to be driving the industry forward with developments like this that add value to our trade customers and give them an advantage within the marketplace.”

The Yale Rapide is the only window lock in the UK to engage along the full keep length, making it the strongest, safest and highest performing window lock on the market. Made from aluminium, it is built to withstand sustained forces of over 4,000 newtons. The Rapide has been independently tested to far exceed the British security standard PAS24:2016 and is Secured by Design approved. It features a unique fully retractable lock, which allows it to sit flush within the Eurogroove for a sleek and discreet appearance.

The Yale Rapide is available as a premier specification on any of the of five market-leading profiles (REHAU, VEKA, Halo, Duraflex and Eurocell) from Polyframe.

Polyframe launched its Polyframe Protection Promise (PPP) guarantee earlier this year. Backed by leading household brand Yale, it is the best homeowner security guarantee, offering up to £6,500 of cover in the event of a break-in. PPP entitles homeowners to £2,000 compensation, up to £2,000 towards their home insurance excess, up to £2,000 towards repairs or replacements and a refund of up to £500 on call-out fees on Yale approved hardware configurations that meet PAS 24:2016 or Secured by Design.

Polyframe is dedicated to helping all customers make the most of their PVCu business. With a choice of profiles from one supplier, unrivalled marketing support, dedicated account managers and the market leading security guarantee, installers can rapidly increase their quote to sales conversion rates  and achieve sustainable growth.
