Many U.S. and Canadian window manufacturers and glass fabrciators have inked agreements in recent months to offer their products with the Pilkington's self-cleaning glass.

"The national exposure Pilkington Activ™ Self-Cleaning Glass gained when we launched it in June really has created a good deal of excitement from window manufacturers and fabricators, as well as from the general public," said Paul Gore, business segment leader for residential products. "Window manufacturers and fabricators see Pilkington Activ™ Glass as a great way to differentiate themselves in their markets."

The first residential and commercial projects to use Pilkington Activ™ Glass were either completed or had orders placed in late summer and early fall. These include homes in Ohio and New Jersey, a New York museum, and an addition at the Michigan headquarters of a well-known retailer.
