Pilkington: Change For China

PST manufactures low-iron rolled glass, principally for solar module manufacturers. It also processes the glass into finished toughened sheets that are then shipped both locally and exported widely.  Installation of new coating equipment is underway and later this year a new anti-reflection coated glass, Pilkington SunPlus AR ™, will be launched.This will give module makers improved efficiency in their products and will distinguish PST from most of its competitors.
 
The 313 permanent employees are managed by João Fausto Dias, who is on secondment from Brazil.  Sales are handled by Ross Fagan and his team and both report to BP China managing director, Julian Barnes.
