New business opportunities for Shandong Donghao Autoglass

Founded in 2009 in Liaocheng City, Shandong Donghao Autoglass is one of the biggest automotive glass companies in China, processing all kinds of glasses for passenger cars, commercial vehicles, trucks and busses.

The company’s products are distributed through a global sales network worldwide, with North America and Europe and Middle East being the primary markets.

The company currently operates eight production lines for laminated products and six lines for tempered sidelites and backlites in three factories with total production area of 88 000 m².

Most of the production is targeted for aftermarket, but Mr. Yan has plans to enter the OEM market as well.

“We knew Glaston from the past and recognize the company’s expertise as a supplier of automotive glass equipment. We were therefore fully confident to choose the recently launched Matrix™ bending furnace for our next windscreen furnace.

Once installed, the furnace has successfully passed the real test during commissioning using Peugeot 307 model as a test piece.

We are now capable of making even the most demanding shapes to reach the highest OEM standards. This opens us new business opportunities in the future,” Mr. Yan concludes.
