Now in combination with roller shutters.

In 2017, Schüco presented new glass and bar safety barriers for its PVC-U windows. Now another attractive option is available combining both solutions and this has also been tested as a complete unit with Schüco PVC-U windows.

The combined safety barrier with bar and glass is mounted directly on the window profile just as with the other two options. All of the safety barrier systems can also be used in conjunction with roller shutters.

Schüco safety barriers for PVC-U systems are suitable for newbuilds and modernisation projects. They are used on floor-to-ceiling window units, which ensure bright rooms flooded with light. Whether on residential projects or in particular on public buildings, e.g. schools or nurseries, the three attractive variations provide numerous design options.

The aluminium profiles used also offer almost unlimited design freedom, since they can be adapted to the individual colour of the window as required using all RAL and anodised colours as well as wet paint coatings. The safety barrier and window thus form a perfect ensemble.

All three safety barriers are compatible with the tried-and-tested PVC-U window systems: Schüco LivIng, Schüco Alu Inside, Schüco Corona SI 82 and Schüco Corona CT 70. Depending on the system, the rebate strip, profile anchor and adhesive anchor offer different concealed fixing options.

All statutory security specifications are met, with test certificates and general building authority (AbP) test certificates, including in accordance with DIN 18008-4 and the ETB guideline. As the safety barrier and window unit can be fitted together in the workshop as prefabricated system components, the installation time on site can be reduced considerably.
