Founded in 2003, today LiSEC U.K. is the first point to contact in regard of I.G. manufacturing, glass cutting, glass processing machines and integrated systems. On June 28 LiSEC invited everyone related to the flat glass industry to visit them in its premises in Telford. Live equipment demonstrations, presentations held by LiSEC Management board members and a delicious catering service throughout the day have been offered. More than 50 customers seized the opportunity for discussions and counselling talks in a relaxed atmosphere.
During the day, LiSEC highlighted its new entry level I.G. manufacturing concept, the FiT.Line. Whether it’s box spacer, flexible spacer, double or triple I.G. units with shapes or up to 3 steps, gas-filled or not – FiT.Line is the perfect system for state of the art insulating glass production.
The concept found great interest by the visitors. The FiT.Line configuration presented during the Open Day has been sold directly at the event. Andrew Boardman, CEO of Northern Express Glass Ltd., bought the system as he was convinced by the top performance/cost-ratio. The line, containing an automatic gas filling press, will be installed within the next weeks. Additional equipment presented were the automatic spacer bending machine BSV-45ANK and the butyl extruder LBH-25V. With the BSV-45ANK LiSEC demonstrated it’s expertise in spacer bending systems. The machine can handle all different types of profiles made of Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel, PVC, SWISSPACER and other composite materials.
