Nowadays, it is no longer a matter of course to remain loyal to an employer for decades. Stephan Meindl, member of the Management Board of HORN Glass Industries AG, was therefore all the more delighted to be able to honor 30 long-serving employees in an appropriate setting.

The employees of the HORN Group turned up in great numbers to spend some time together with colleagues in an informal and relaxed atmosphere after a long period characterised by contact restrictions.  At the Christmas party with a winter tent and its own Christmas market, Stephan Meindl thanked the 420 employees worldwide for their performance and commitment, especially during the last two and a half years. "The company is doing well," the board member let it be known. "You are part of it and it is thanks to you that HORN has come out of the pandemic very well without any short-time work at all," he continued. "You can be proud to be part of a globally active and constantly growing manufacturer of glass melting equipment."

Depending on the type of honour, the honourees received non-cash benefits in varying amounts on their HORN employee cards in recognition of their loyalty to the company and their achievements.

The following employees of HORN Glass Industries AG were honoured for 10 years of service: Rainer Sommer, Franz Egger, Volkan Bayandir, Fred Stingl, Rainer Schwägerl, Ulrich Imhof, Torsten Scharmach, Reiner Thürauf, Bastian Grüner, Johannes Helgert, Johannes Blommer, Jörg Kraus, Simon Grüner, Manuel Tauber, Sarah Schiffl, Evelyn Birkner, Alexander Horn, Andreas Stilp and Kerstin Majewski. Herbert Schneider, Elisabeth Hößl, Helmut Kraus and Markus Frank were honoured for 20 years of service. In addition, Andreas Thoma and Markus Thoma received recognition for 20 years of service from the previous year.

Anton Völkl can look back on ten years with HORN Bau & Service GmbH. Ingolf Albert was honoured for 20 years of loyalty.

Also present were employees of the Czech subsidiary HORN Glass CZ s.r.o. Three employees received an accolade for 10 years of service: Miroslav Bureš, Vladislav Bureš and Nečekal František.

Meindl thanked each jubilarian individually and made clear the importance of good employees for the company.
