'Solution Sessions' Take Center Stage at Glazing Executives Forum and Window & Door Dealer Days

In addition to a robust line-up of speakers and networking opportunities at NGA’s Glazing Executives Forum (Oct. 19) and WDDA’s Window & Door Dealer Days (Oct. 19 & 20), this year’s industry-specific educational events will feature a new break-out session format dubbed as ‘Solution Sessions.’

Solution Sessions will group industry peers who share similar interests, but do not compete geographically, into roundtable discussions. For the Glazing Executives Forum, roundtable topics of discussion will include hiring strategies, sales & marketing, contract & legal issues, installation issues, and new product trends. For Window & Door Dealer Days, roundtable topics of discussion will include hiring strategies, customer service, sales & marketing, finance, and new product trends. Participants will be placed into groups based on the topic they selected when registering.

After lunch, participants at each respective event will learn from their peers as everyone comes together to share highlights and best practices from the morning’s Solution Sessions discussions. Everyone will walk away with a whole slew of knowledge and ideas to put into use in their own businesses.

The 2016 GlassBuild America app is ready to download! CLICK HERE for step-by-step instructions for your mobile device.

New and improved, this year’s app has been streamlined to make navigation even easier with some cool new features that are sure to enhance your show experience.

• Show registration, transportation options and hotel accommodations are available to help you plan your trip to Las Vegas. Tap the General Information icon on the dashboard.
• Create your app profile so you can network with other attendees and receive custom alerts. Tap the gear icon at the top of the dashboard and select “My Profile.”
• NEW! The Global Notes feature will collect all the notes you enter for individual exhibitors and put them in one place for easy reference. This feature is accessible from the dashboard and “quick bar” at the top of the screen.

Updates will be made regularly throughout the summer so be sure to open the app from time to time for the latest information.
