This is why the Fenzi group, a world leader in the production of chemicals for flat glass reprocessing, has decided to concentrate its research activities on energy efficiency and alternative energies. The most interesting new products by the group will therefore be showcased at Glasstec 2010.
Aquaglass
The Glass Alliance exhibition booth, the international network that manufactures everything necessary for producers of insulating glass and which comprises Fenzi, Alu-Pro and Rolltech, will offer a first-hand view of the technology developed by the three companies in this area.
Chromatech-Plus
Energy saving is also synonymous with thermal insulation for buildings. Here, the Chromatech range with Chromatech Ultra in the lead, the next generation spacer bar for IG glass developed by Rolltech, will enjoy pride of place at the German show. It combines a lower stainless steel part and an upper part in polycarbonate with a low moisture penetration index in a single structure, which ensures significant advantages in terms of thermal insulation. Chromatech Plus by Rolltech, instead, is particularly suited for large and complex IG because of its unique design and the technical properties of the special stainless steel with which it is built, making it the world's most stable spacer bar.
Chromatech-Ultra
Fenzi manufactures a wide range of sealants that are essential in optimizing IG glass energy efficiency. Glasstec will offer a close-up view of Thiover, the polysulfide two-part sealant meeting the most advanced eco-compatibility standards. Using this sealant, builders can obtain LEED® points and certify the buildings to the standards of the American Green building rating system. These sealants are completely non-hazardous and solvent-free, with excellent mechanical properties and extremely low water and gas permeability.
Duralux-Solar-Coatings
Duralux Solar Coatings will also be at the center of attention. The new range of solar mirror coatings developed by the Fenzi group harness the new solar heating technologies and have reached such high levels of resistance to require new reference parameters for their specific testing, which Fenzi drew up in collaboration with the industry leaders.
Fenzi, located in Tribiano (Northern Italy), will also display the decorative potential of its Tempver ceramic paints, an important and reliable component in architecture combining design versatility and a strong visual impact through a vast color assortment.
Particularly noteworthy is Aquaglass, the line of one-component, water-based decorative paints developed by the company for glass processors who specialize in decoration and are particularly eco-minded. As a result of their distinctive color brightness and ecocompatibility of the water-based main ingredient, Aquaglass paints offer a high-end product for the interior decoration of offices and homes, bathrooms and kitchens.
Two websites www.tempver.com and www.fenzi-aquaglass.com, dedicated to these two product lines, offer direct access to the formulas to confidently obtain the desired RAL color. Those who have bought the product just need to enter their username and password, issued by the company at the time of purchase, to immediately receive precise instructions on the quantities of base colors to be mixed.
This is big news for the trade, which can now rely on a quick service and even greater efficiency.
