Fall Conference 2018 kicks off Tuesday morning, September 11 with an insightful presentation on the Prevention of Glazing Surprises by Steve Thomas, Western Area Technical Advisor at Guardian Glass.

Join us as we walk through a range of key glazing selection, design, and specification considerations which can help to guard against unintended consequences on architectural projects. The discussion will also explore the importance of project team coordination, technical research, and the fluid implementation of standards and codes.

These provisions will be presented within the following general categories:

  • glazing aesthetics
  • energy performance
  • durability
  • safety
  • specialized functionality
