Last week, a pivotal meeting took place between EPPA President Alexander Franke, Managing Director Elena Vyboldina, and Mattia Pellegrini of the European Commission.

The discussions focused on reinforcing the commitment of the sector to the circular economy and addressing the evolving challenges and opportunities in EU waste legislation.

Alexander Franke emphasized the significance of the dialogue: "This meeting was crucial for us to explore joint strategies on circular economy initiatives and upcoming EU waste directives. We are eager to continue this collaboration with the European Commission."

We are also excited to announce that Mattia Pellegrini will deliver a keynote speech at our upcoming conference. The speech, entitled "What are the next targets of the Circular Economy EU policy?" will be a highlight of the General Assembly organized in partnership with SNEP. This event is scheduled for the 4th and 5th of June in Lyon.
