EnduroShield specified for the Kihei Surfside Resort, Maui, Hawaii

The Forbidden Beach” as Keawakapu was known by the locals, was a favorite of Hawaii’s Ali’i (royalty), and is one of the most beautiful, white sand swimming beaches on Maui.

Application Originally built in 1974, Kihei Surfside has just completed a $4M exterior renovation that has transformed the condo resort into one of the most beautiful destination properties in South Maui.

All of the original windows were replaced with dramatic floor to ceiling glass and the original metal lanai railing upgraded with over 3,500 ft2 of new glass balustrades to enhance the amazing ocean views.



Maui’s Certified EnduroShield Applicator, Perfectly Clear LLC, was contracted to provide glass protection for the project. EnduroShield® Professional for Glass was then applied to lanai balustrades to protect the glass against salt etching and corrosion caused by the extremely harsh conditions that confront the building in its ocean facing location.



With this application the glass will remain cleaner for longer and eliminate the need for expensive future glass restoration and/or replacement.
