Dutch employers' organisation was LiSEC's guest

Date: 22 May 2014

Each year, the Dutch employers' organisation for the glass industry, GBO (Glas Branche Organisatie) visits a trade fair or a leading business firm in the industry.  In 2013, the organisation visited the Vitrum exhibition in Milan.

This year a delegation was LiSEC's guest on 15th May. The participants visited the machine production department in Seitenstetten; they then had a look behind the scenes at Winterglas GmbH, a LiSEC group company which is a centre for operators’ know-how at LiSEC. Here, flat glass is being processed under real production conditions and new LiSEC developments are put through their paces. Then there was a very pleasant get-together with a typical Mostviertel ("Cider Quarter") atmosphere.

Cara Stekelenburg, manager at Stekelenburg Glas B.V., said: "It was a very informative day for me. LiSEC has a comprehensive range of machines and software, as well as their own production locations that develop operators’ know-how. I think that is a unique combination".
