Deceuninck UK has announced the appointment of two new directors, Chris Jones and Darren Woodcock, following several years of outstanding performance.

Previously Head of Sales, Chris Jones has been promoted to Sales Director and Darren Woodcock promoted to Operations Director.

Chris joined Deceuninck in 2014 and has helped existing customers grow and also switched a stream of fabricators over to Deceuninck. The combined effect has powered Deceuninck’s strong growth and market share gains over the last four years.

In 2016 Darren joined Deceuninck and set up its purpose-built foiling plant within just nine months. Deceuninck now foils over five million metres a year and regularly sets the industry benchmark for outstanding quality and service in foiling. Uniquely among systems companies, Deceuninck foils for stock and keeps 26 colourways in stock with colour-matched cills, trims and ancillaries for the whole of Deceuninck’s Heritage range of products.

Fabricators can order even a single length of profile via Deceuninck Online and know – because they can see it in stock – that it will arrive on their next delivery. On-time in-full levels for colour are consistently the highest in the UK, and quality and reliability of service is believed to be one of the main reasons for Deceuninck fabricators’ strong colour growth. Most of Deceuninck’s large fabricators sell more than 50% in colour!

Commenting on the appointments, Managing Director Rob McGlennon said: “I’m delighted to confirm Chris and Darren’s promotion to Sales Director and Operations Director respectively. They have helped us grow fast and built our reputation for helping fabricators grow. Darren set up our state-of-the-art foiling plant and his expertise ensures production runs seamlessly. Meanwhile, Chris drives sales with existing customers and has built a heathy pipeline of new fabricator waiting to become customers. This year so far, 10 fabricators have switched to Deceuninck.

“It’s an exciting time for Deceuninck. Sales are 17% up year to date on 2017, and the last three months have been over 40% ahead of last year as we gain momentum. We are investing in additional machinery and warehousing to keep up with the demand. We’re No 1 for colour, and early next year, to stay ahead of the competition, we are stepping up from 26 to 30 colourways always in stock. We’re also launching an exciting new Heritage product in the new year.”
