The first edition of the show confirms glass industry expectations for South America.

During the two-day event, 30 participating companies – leading suppliers of machinery and technological solutions for the glass industry – welcomed professional visitors coming from Colombia, US, Perù, Ecuador, Honduras, Bolivia, Brazil, Panama, Chile. The most important Colombian and international glassworks attended the show.

The show included a significant welcome speech held by Daniel Rey, Director for Economic Studies at Camacol (Camera Colombiana de la Construcciòn) as well as interesting workshops hosted by exhibitors over the two days.

Among the speakers, two important Colombian glassworks (Vidplex and Vitelsa). Among visitors: Vidrio Andino, Compania Peruviana del Vidrio, Vidros y Cristales Templados, Vlc, Panama Glass Design, Vitelco, Cristaleria Rosenthal, Tecnoglass and Owens-Illinois, among others.

The event has proved itself as a reference point to strengthen the existing business relationships in all South America, as well as opening the way for those who consider Colombia a new start for their business.
