The third year that Bohle has attended the glass and glazing expo, its stand – number L25 – will also be packed with the latest innovations in glass processing technologies and consumables.
Dave Broxton, Managing Director, Bohle said: “We saw a dramatic increase in demand for our easy-fit balustrading systems last year, something which has continued into this year.
“It’s being driven by growth in the commercial property sector but also significant demand in residential and retail.
“The transition from fitting windows and doors to installing a fully integrated balustrading system is minimal. Margins are also high, so the addition of residential or commercial balustrading to your offer as an installation business is a logical step.”
Bohle’s innovatively engineered EasyMount base rail system is available in two formats, the modular EasyMount Fix and flexible EasyMount Vario.
Each system is suitable for floor or lateral mounting, supporting fast and easy installation, with the EasyMount Fix accommodating loads of up to 3kN.
Using the same profile as the EasdyMount Fix, the Vario, delivers variable glass adjustment via a moveable base shoe. Also fully adjustable from the balcony side, the EasyMount Vario can cut installation time by as much as 30 per cent over traditional systems.
Bohle will also be showcasing the new Frametec office partitioning system at May’s expo. Developed to support glass processors in accessing the growing commercial sector, it also potential applications in residential markets.
The flexible solution is configurable as partial or full partitioning applications, also delivering a high level of sound-proofing when used as a floor-to-ceiling system.
Bohle will also profile its internal sliding door hardware system – SlideTec Optima 80. The easy-install system supports weights of up to 80kg, while eliminating pre-drilling of glass, using smart clamping technology.
The stand will also include Bohle Veribor suction lifters, Silberschnitt cutting wheels, Verifix UV-bonding ranges, glass cleaners and more.
“Frametec, SlideTec Optima and the EasyMount balustrading ranges, have been developed first and foremost to deliver opportunities to glass processors, delivering a high pull through of core product”, added Broxton.
He concluded: “It doesn’t, however, require much of a leap to access these growth areas as a window and door installation business, by partnering with glass processors to enter new markets.”
